Alana De La Garza's beauty has made an impression on small screens. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. The next year was not long after when she moved to Texas. In Texas, she started a new career in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long. She soon made the move into Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, including independent local commercials as well as films. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering that she enjoyed acting. Then she moved from New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in 2004 on the brief dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. Her character was recognized with several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she received the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding Performances for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time later. She performed the role of Marisol Deko, the spouse of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was with NBC's rather darker show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two short episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are from Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Her family was strict and spiritual one. Milano's professional career started at seven after her child's sitter brought her to an audition. The audition was attended by four girls out of more than 1000 hopefuls. Milano is featured in TV ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as in the American premier of Jane Eyre.
